A gotong-royong initiative organised by KBS (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, Kawasan Batu) and Rakan Gemilang recently took place at the Hiichiikok Foundation Home for Children Care, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and Malaysia Madani. Approximately 40 volunteers, including youths from Rakan Gemilang, contributed their efforts to clean, move, and rearrange furniture.
The volunteers made significant improvements to the home, including creating more space in the living hall by relocating the piano to the study room and clearing out the back of the home. In addition, Rakan Gemilang representatives presented stationery sets and books to all the children.
We are honoured to have been chosen by KBS as one of the first children’s homes for this collaboration with Rakan Gemilang and look forward to many more such partnerships in the future.
