Tan Sri Clement Hii
Tan Sri Clement HiiTan Sri Clement Hii, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) graduate from the United Kingdom, has been conferred honorary doctorate degrees by the University of Sunderland, the University of Southern Queensland and his alma mater, the University of Wolverhampton. He is a former senior journalist holding positions in several newspapers, including Chief Editor of Borneo’s leading English daily, “The Borneo Post”. He was the Executive Deputy Chairman of Star Media Group Berhad for two years, until end of December 2010. He is active on social media, and believes that communication and its right tools and approaches play a crucial role in any organisation. Currently, he is also the Group Managing Director of SEG International Bhd (SEGi), which owns and operates one of Malaysia’s largest tertiary education providers. The SEGi Group also owns international schools, TVET training centres, and healthcare medical clinics. He also holds positions in numerous private limited companies and charitable foundations. He and his organisations place corporate social responsibility as one of their top priorities. |
Datin Adeline Hii
Datin Adeline HiiA chartered accountant by training, Datin Adeline received her Masters of Commerce and Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. She is registered as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and is a Certified Practicing Accountant of CPA Australia LTD. Datin Adeline used to head the Audit Department of an Australian Chartered Accountant firm, specialising in Solicitors, Real Estates and Travel Agencies Trust Accounts. She was also a senior tax agent and auditor with 10 years of experience in the same firm which has over 1,000 clients. She currently serves as the Executive Director, Administration and Oversight, at HCK Capital Group Berhad. |

Bhd. and he has been a healthcare entrepreneur with more than 19 years of experience in healthcare manufacturing, product development, sourcing, supply chain, distribution, and business strategy. He is focused on building technology-enabled healthcare infrastructure that improves access and creates long-term value for Malaysian communities. As a member of the Executive Committee of Hiichiikok Foundation, he supports its mission to empower underprivileged children and communities through care, education, and opportunity. |
Lee Kok Cheng
Lee Kok ChengMr Lee Kok Cheng serves as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of HCK Capital Group. He obtained his BSc (Hons) Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1985 and thereafter in 1996, he obtained his Master in Business Administration from the University of Dubuque, Iowa, United States of America and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Research from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He was appointed the Executive Director of SEG International Bhd (“SEGi”) in 2005 and became the Deputy Managing Director of SEGi, a position he held until his retirement in 2013. He was instrumental in implementing many e- applications to replace paperwork for the accounting, human resource and information technology functions. |
Datin Woon
Datin WoonDatin Woon Huei Chin is the Founder and Senior Partner of Tiong & Woon Advocates & Solicitors, with nearly two decades of legal experience in Malaysia. A graduate of the University of Reading and a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn, she began her career in intellectual property litigation before joining the litigation practice of Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill (LHAG), where she further developed her experience in complex corporate and commercial disputes. Datin Woon is actively involved in the Firm’s strategic development, client relations and international collaborations. With the growing presence of Chinese businesses in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, she has developed a particular focus on China–Malaysia cross-border legal and business matters, advising Chinese enterprises and investors on commercial transactions, contractual and partner risks, corporate governance, debt recovery and dispute resolution. |
Cheryl Chong
Cheryl ChongCheryl Chong joined SEG International Group in 2000 as a Financial Controller and has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of accountancy, financial services and corporate services. She was re-designated on 1 July 2014 as the Group Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Prior to joining SEGi, Cheryl worked for a main board public listed company in Malaysia as the Financial Controller and in one of the top international accounting firms. She is now on the Board of SEG International Berhad as an Executive Director. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (International Business) from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. |
