They came for the lanterns… but left with so much more.
On 19 September 2026, Hiichiikok Children Home turned into a little world of laughter, colour, food and pure childhood joy.
And honestly… the smiles said it all.

🎤 Games, singing & performances
🍢 Satay + fried chicken
🍦 Ice cream + desserts
🥮 Mooncakes + lots of goodies
🏮 And, of course… THE LANTERNS!
Thanks to Touching Lives Club, in collaboration with Vantage Foundation, our children got to experience a Mid-Autumn Festival filled with moments they’ll remember.
But the most beautiful part?
It wasn’t the new beds.
It wasn’t the food.
It wasn’t even the lanterns.
It was watching the children laugh without a care in the world.
Running around with their lanterns.
Singing together.
Cheering each other on.
Just being kids.
Sometimes, you don’t need to give a child the world.
You just need to give them a moment where they feel loved, included and remembered.
And this was one of those moments.
To everyone who made this night possible — thank you for lighting up more than just lanterns. You lit up little hearts.
