On 23 June 2026, we at Hiichiikok Children Home were truly blessed to welcome our founder, Tan Sri Clement Hii, to our new premises in Taman Seri Melati. It wasn’t just any visit—it was a moment that reminded us all why this home exists in the first place.

You know how busy life gets, especially for someone like Tan Sri Clement Hii. His schedule is absolutely packed, yet he made it a point to be here with us. And he didn’t just show up, sign a few papers, and leave. He stayed. He sat with the children, asked about their days, laughed with them, and listened—really listened—to what they had to say. For our kids, having him there, present and genuinely interested, meant more than words can express.

But Tan Sri didn’t stop at conversations. He walked through every corner of our new premises, checking things we might have overlooked—the bedrooms, the kitchen, the study areas. He wanted to see for himself if everyone was truly comfortable and safe. It wasn’t a quick glance either; he paid attention to the little details that make a house feel like a home.

And here’s the best part—he came prepared to make things even better. He brought along his Interior Designer and Executive Assistant, not just to take notes, but to roll up their sleeves and start planning real improvements. We’re talking about renovations that will not only fix what needs fixing but also add warmth, colour, and life to our space. Think brighter walls, cosy corners, and a more cheerful atmosphere for both the children and our dedicated staff.

To say we were touched would be an understatement. Tan Sri’s visit wasn’t just a gesture—it was proof that he genuinely cares about every single child here, and that he’s always ready to go the extra mile to ensure they feel safe, loved, and valued.

We’re so excited for the upgrades ahead, but more than that, we’re grateful for the reminder that we’re not alone in this journey. With leaders like Tan Sri behind us, we know this home will continue to be a place where children don’t just survive—they thrive.

Because at the end of the day, a home is built not with bricks and paint alone, but with compassion, dedication, and the beautiful belief that every child deserves a brighter tomorrow.
