The CNY Charity Fun Day at Paradigm Mall brought together children from five homes, including those from the Hiichiikok Foundation, for a memorable and joyful celebration of Chinese New Year. Organised by the Touching Lives Club in collaboration with Paradigm Mall, the event featured a special screening of Mufasa: The Lion King, which brought smiles to the children’s faces as they immersed themselves in the world of the beloved characters.
The festivities continued with a vibrant traditional lion dance that infused the event with the festive spirit of Chinese New Year. In addition, fun games and activities were held throughout the day, encouraging the children to bond, be creative, and enjoy the cheerful atmosphere.
Each child was gifted a goodie bag filled with treats, as well as ang pows to symbolise good luck and prosperity. The event also included a delicious meal of burgers and mandarin oranges, allowing the children to experience the joy of the season’s traditional offerings.
The CNY Charity Fun Day provided not only entertainment but also a deep sense of community and goodwill, demonstrating the power of kindness and the joy that comes from sharing moments of happiness. The children left the event with lasting memories and renewed hope for the future.
